biography

Bill BrimmBill Brimm, a native Nashvillian, is co-owner of Emmanuel Stained Glass Studio, Inc., a nationally known studio specializing in ecclesiastical stained glass window fabrication and restoration. He attended Middle Tennessee State University where he studied painting, photography and a variety of other mediums.

After graduation, Bill moved to California where he studied techniques in stained glass. When he returned to Nashville, his 30 year career in stained glass began. Aside from his day job, he creates assemblages, sculpture, lamps and furniture made of steel, wood, concrete, glass and found objects. He is also an avid photographer. The majority of his photography has been taken during his travels. He is the author of “Peru In Focus”, a photography and poetry book chronicling his trip to Arequipa, Cusco and Machu Picchu, Peru.

For 18 years, Bill has been an active member in the Nashville arts community having shown in many exhibitions and galleries. He was a featured artist on HGTV’s “Our Place” and his home and studio were featured on HGTV’s “Dream Builders.
